New Features & Updates

Flower Bloom Event

Something super is blooming in Kilima, and you’re invited to help it flourish! Our newest dynamic event brings a burst of color to the valley with a cooperative, flower-filled challenge that you can enjoy solo or with fellow Palians. Whether you’re tending sprouts or pulling pesky weeds, there’s a role for everyone to play and plenty of rewards waiting to be plucked!

The event begins daily at 12 PM game time, though you might notice a few early signs that the event is about to start pollinating before then! Look out for the orange mist and little green sprouts popping up across the vast landscape. You’ll know you’ve found the right spot when you see weeds clustered around budding sprouts. This event can appear in six random locations throughout Kilima, each covering a wide patch of land with dozens of sprouts ready for tending!

Best of all, this event is available to all players, including those still who may be new to Palia. If you’ve made it through the tutorial, you’re ready to bust-a-bloom! You need the watering can to help water, but you can still weed and gather all flowers and collect everything the event has to offer. Just show up, spot the sprouts, and start growing!

02 FlowerEvent

You can take on one of two roles (or both!): Weeders will help pull away overgrown plants that threaten the sprouts.

Waterers give the sprouts a good sprinkle, helping them bloom into budding flowers. The more players watering together, the faster everything grows. Coordination with the carnations pays off!

Once the flowers have bloomed, everyone can then gather them. Rewards can include sellable weeds, Sundrop Lilies, Spice Sprouts, Wild Garlic, Gardenia Flowers, Chapaatail Flower, Rose Flower, Trillium Flowers, Cottonball flowers, and more. For some extra special loot, you might be able to find some of the 10 new flowers, 9 new planters, a floral nameplate, or perhaps even a lost potato pod!

Whether you’re here to pick weeds, water blossoms, or simply chase down some lush rewards, this event is a little daily bloom worth growing and showing up for!

New Fresh Flora

A fresh wave of flora has arrived to help your home plot truly blossom! With 10 new plants and flowers and 9 stylish planters, you’ll have more ways than ever to bring color, charm, and natural beauty to your space. Whether you’re curating a cozy garden corner or going full flower power, it’s never been easier to make your plot bloom bountifully exactly in the way you want it.

Introducing: The Bulletin Board

As we mentioned in the Summer 2025 Palia Path roadmap, the Bulletin Board (“small bite-sized narrative quests”) is a new way to explore seasonal themes, earn rewards, and complete community-focused objectives each patch! The Bulletin Board will deliver new goals and narrative and give players more activities to complete with limited-timed seasonal availability… every patch!

To get started with the Bulletin Board intro quest, you’ll want to keep an eye out for Kenli. Once you’ve completed building your house or your first add-on, Kenli will bumble over to your plot with a special quest to kick things off.

“We created the Bulletin Board because we know many of you have been enjoying and wanting new quests and more things to do between major updates. While we continue to work on the larger main story content, this is a way for us to deliver something new every month with fun mini stories in between. You can expect an intro and outro quest each time, with new rewards and seasonal touches.” -S6 Vega

Just a heads up: each bundle is only available for a period of time. The Midsummer bundle and its rewards are tied to this update and we don’t plan for them to return, so be sure to complete it while it’s active! This is just the first version of the Bulletin Board, and we’re looking forward to improving it. We’d love to hear what you think, so please share your feedback as you go. And look forward to more bountiful bundles in the coming months!

04 QuestBoard

You’ll find the Bulletin Board right in the heart of the Kilima Village Center. Each month, we’ll introduce a new seasonal theme. This month's theme? Midsommar!

Collect the requested items, turn them in, and work your way through four themed sub-bundles. Each one offers rewards like the new flowers and new nameplates. The nameplates are exclusive to the board, while the flowers can be found in the new event.

Once you complete all four bundles, you'll unlock an outro quest that comes with extra special rewards, plus build a lot of friendship with Kenli along the way!

This feature is still in its early stages, and will continue to be iterated upon, but we’re excited to get it into your hands and build on it together!

New Plushes

The Floatfish crew has arrived, ready to drift right into your heart. Whether it's the cozy charm of the Floatfish Toadstool Plush, the whimsical sparkle of the Floatfish Piksii Plush, or the reel-y sleek style of the Floatfish Midnight Plush, there’s bound to be one that floats your boat, hehe.

05 194Plushes

To mark Palia’s anniversary, we’ve baked up something sweet. Two limited-time Cupcake Plushes will be available as login rewards, one with pink cake and white frosting, the other a rich red with chocolate icing.

Thank you for playing, for decorating, for fishing, farming… for everything. This is our little way of saying we’re glad you’re here. And a very happy Palian Birthday to all!

Improvements & Adjustments

Infinite Quest Bag

Say goodbye to full quest bags and item juggling. Your quest bag now has infinite space, so bring on the duplicates. You’ve got room for it all.

Bundle Improvements

Items that can be turned into a bundle now show a bundle icon in the inventory, along with the bundle name in the tooltip for easy reference. This is only shown for bundles that you have unlocked and when the item is still needed to complete the bundle.

New Tool and Emote Accessibility Setting

A new setting aimed at improving accessibility has been added under the settings tab titled “Gameplay Wheels Toggle Open.” This allows players to open the Tool or Emote Wheel with a single tap, instead of holding down the button.

This setting is available on keyboard, controller, and console.

Fare Thee Well, King Hoppington

07 KingHoppington

King Hoppington XIV, ruler of froggy fortunes, will be hopping off into the sunset at the end of Patch 0.194.

If you haven’t gotten a chance to meet this elusive amphibian aristocrat, now is the time to chase that frog money before he leaps from myth to memory!
