If you’ve been tucked away in your cozy Palian abode trying out new looks with a fancy new beard (a perfectly acceptable way to pass the time!), then you might have missed the news that Palia is launching on Nintendo Switch at 8 a.m. PT next Thursday, Dec. 14. Check out the Nintendo Switch gameplay trailer below!

Announced at The Game Awards, Palians that want to fish, farm, and forage on-the-go, or play curled up in their cozy gaming corner, can head over to the Nintendo eShop now to pre-order Palia for free. And we’ll make sure that it’s worth your while to have the best opportunity to claim some cozy free gifts, including:

Switch Rewards 2024

Freshly Painted Froggy Bucket Log-in Reward: Log-in and play Palia starting on launch day to claim this time-limited crimson variant of the fan-favorite Froggy Bucket before the reward window croaks in March.

Account Linking Mushroom Glider Reward: Link your Nintendo Switch to a Palia account to receive an exclusive glider that will have you traversing the Palian landscape faster than a rogue ‘Flothinger.’

Account Linking Leapfroggy Outfit Reward: Switch up your look and hop around in style when you link your Nintendo Switch to your Palia accounts to earn the 30-day time-limited Leapfroggy Outfit reward.

Twitch Drops: In the two weeks following Palia’s launch on Nintendo Switch, Palians will also have the opportunity to collect up to five unique purple Twitch Drop in-game items, such as a Nox the Palcat Plush, Palcat Party Small Rug, Palcat Party Large Rug, Palcat Party Sunglasses, and Palcat Party Wallpaper.

Palia supports cross-play and cross-progression on Nintendo Switch, so Palians can team-up across platforms to explore Bahari Bay together, whip up a fresh-cooked meal (Chapaa masala, anyone?), or just chill out and relax at home.

And if you’d prefer to play solo, there is no better way to enjoy Palia’s charming and welcoming pick-up-and-play gameplay than the portable flexibility of the Nintendo Switch, whether you feel like unwinding with a quick game session at your desk (!!!), in your favorite cozy corner, or from the comfort of your bed (the Singularity 6 team’s preference, hehe).

Head over to the Nintendo eShop now to pre-order Palia for free and make sure to hop into the game at 8 a.m. PT on Thursday, Dec. 14. Palia will be available on Nintendo Switch globally in most regions. You can also play Palia on PC (and link your Nintendo Switch account!) by downloading Palia at palia.com or from the Epic Games Store.

We look forward to welcoming you to our growing Palian community <3.
