A Whole Lot of Buzz: Insect-A-Palooza Returns to Palia!
Summer is in full swing and so is the insect-catching action. While this upcoming patch is taking a little extra time to hatch, we’ve got the perfect way to keep cool: chasing down critters and collecting rewards that are truly the bee’s knees. Join your fellow Palians as we team up once again to catch 30 million insects during this limited-time event.
This weeklong return of Insect-a-Palooza will begin at 10:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday, August 12 and ends at 10:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday, August 19.
Goal & Rewards
Auni’s back with an even BIGGER insect-catching goal, and he’s calling on all bug scouts to help him beat his personal best. Last year, Palians helped Auni collect a whopping 25 million insects (Tish still can’t believe it!), but this time he’s ready to go above-and-beyond with an incredible 30 Million insects caught by August 19.
More insects obviously means more loot, and Auni’s ready to share the treasures with his fellow scouts if you help him hit the goal. So grab your smoke bombs, prep those honey lures, and get ready to make Insect-a-Palooza an un-bee-lievable success!

And don’t worry, Auni is already prepping his mailbag! Once the goal is met, he’ll be mailing the in-game items out through the News Inbox to anyone who logs in between 11:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday, August 19 until 10:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday, August 26.
And if those rewards aren’t enough to get you buzzing, we’ve got one more surprise: we’re letting the community help choose a future in-game insect Plush! If the goal is met, we’ll be hosting a Community Vote where you can cast your vote for your favorite buzz-worthy contender to be made into a Plush!

- Head over to the Official Palia Discord to meet up with other Bug Scouts. There's a dedicated channel just for #hunting-insects and #lfg-chat for teaming up.
- Spread the word in-game! Signal to your fellow bug scouts that it’s time for a Honey Lure party! Before long, butterflies and beetles will be swarming your way.

Nope, don’t worry - this is a shared goal between ALL players and all platforms! Teamwork makes the dreamwork!
Can I party up with my friends to catch insects together?
Absolutely! Go full solo Bug Scout or bring the whole troop along. Catching critters is fun on your own, but even better with a party by your side.

What is the Community Vote for a future insect plush?
The Community Vote is your chance to help decide which insect gets turned into the next in-game plush! We'll share a poll featuring several popular bug options, and the one with the most votes will be made into a plush in a future update.
How will we know when we hit the goal?
We’ll update you on Thursday, August 14 with the community’s progress so you know what’s left to catch. The final total will be announced after the event ends
