To celebrate the launch of Sunkissed Summer updates, we’re formally inviting the Palia community to step into the spotlight for a new challenge: Palia Next Top Idol.
We invite all Palians to bring the in-game “Kick That” KPOP dance emote to life in the real-world through short-form video content inspired by Palia’s summer KPOP era and using the new song “KICK THAT” (By AZODi & RENÉE).
Whether you’re dancing to KICK THAT! in front of your bathroom mirror, or directing a music-video masterpiece this challenge is open to Palians of every skill level and dance background. All that matters is bringing your creativity, confidence, and Palian spirit to the stage.
At the end of the event, one standout participant (per category) will be crowned the Palia Next Top Idol and take home 11,050 Palia Coins, along with eternal admiration from your new fans!
How to Participate:
- Join the Palia Discord server.
- Download the audio for KICK THAT!
- Create your dance or music video with the audio!
- Submit your entry in the #palia-next-top-idol channel.
- Be sure to tag your submission as “Dance” or “Music Video”
- Please be sure to share your submission as a viewable social media link! (Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok, etc) Please tag us on social media @Palia in your submission and use the hashtag #PaliaNextTopIdol in your submissions!
Dance Category: Rules, Guidelines and Information:
- Submissions must be original, feature you, and be created by you.
- Your content should reflect your best attempt to recreate the new “KICK THAT” Emote.
- You must use the KICK THAT Audio provided for your dance.
- Content should be optimized for shortform video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, and/or YouTube Shorts.) with a 9:16 aspect ratio
- All video participants must be 18 years or older.
- Keep submissions family-friendly and aligned with Palia community guidelines.
- Participants may perform solo or with friends; however, Palia Coins will be awarded to the individual who submits the entry.
- Creative edits, costumes, props, and themed settings are encouraged!
- The winner will be selected by the S6 team based on:
- Creativity
- Dance Performance
- Overall “Palian” Spirit
- Only one submission per person/group.
- Submissions may only include Palia-related content or original content that you fully own the intellectual rights to. Do not include content, characters, assets, music, or intellectual property from any franchise or source outside of Palia.
- Absolutely no AI tools may be used in any part of the content creation process. No AI-generated, AI-assisted, or AI-enhanced work will be permitted. If AI use is suspected, we reserve the right to disqualify or remove your submission.
- Only one Dance entry per person. Entries may be edited or replaced prior to the deadline
- By submitting your content, you grant Palia permission to repost, share, and feature your submission across official Palia channels with credit to the creator(s).
- The winner will be decided upon by a vote / committee of S6 employees.
Music Video Category: Rules, Guidelines and Information:

- Content should be optimized for shortform video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, and/or YouTube Shorts.) with a 9:16 aspect ratio

- The winner will be selected by the S6 team based on:

- Dance Performance
- Overall “Palian” Spirit

Who decides the winners of each category?
We’ve assembled a diverse group of S6 employees from across the studio to review entries and pick the winners.
What if I can't access Discord? Can I still participate?
You can tag us on your post on social media with our handle @PlayPalia
Do I HAVE to own / use the KICK THAT emote for the Music Video?
Nope! You do not need to own or use the KICK THAT emote to enter. While we'd love to see it used, and you can always collaborate with fellow Palians who have the emote in-game, it is completely optional.
What if I am bad at dancing? Can I still participate? What will we be judged on?
Absolutely! We are not judging solely based on dancing skill. Creativity, Dance Performance and Overall “Palian” Spirit are the judging criteria.
What do you consider a music video? What does it need to have?
A music video should be Palia gameplay footage edited to the new KICK THAT song. It should be synced to the music and can include dancing, cinematic clips, or any creative in-game moments. The main thing is that it feels like a music video using Palia content. For inspiration, please take a look at our own music video on social media!
Can I submit an entry to both the Dance category AND Music Video category?
Yes! You may submit one entry to the Dance category and one entry to the Music Video category. However, participants may only win one prize total across all categories,
