Wander into Winterlights: Introducing the Grow-A-Snowman Event!
Snowy Salutations, Palians!
The lanterns are glowing, the snow in Kilima is falling, and a hint of Winterlights magic is everywhere. This Winterlights, we ask all Palians… do you want to grow a snowman?
Join the Grow-A-Snowman event and collect snowman plushes to help Kilima’s giant snowman grow from adorable to awe-inspiring!
Grow-A-Snowman begins at December 9 at 10:00 a.m. PT and ends on January 13 at 10:00 a.m. PT.
How to Join the Fun:
Discover Sandy Paws Presents by participating in your favorite activities, including:
- Hunting
- Insect Catching
- Fishing
- Mining
- Woodcutting
- Foraging
- Gardening
- Rummage Piles
- Ranching
- Monthly Bundle Quests
Sandy Paws Presents can contain seasonal decor, snowballs, a snowman plush, or coal. If you discover coal in one of your Sandy Paws Presents, a recipe to craft the Snowman will be also discovered. And if you’re crafty, you can ‘build’ a Snowman plush using 10 coal, 20 snowballs, 2 pieces of wood, and 1 carrot.
You’ll notice a frosty friend that is hanging around Kilima (C8 on your map, to be exact). Every plush collected or crafted helps the snowman grow, The snowman will visually grow with every plush crafted/collected and milestones reached! Each milestone also unlocks community-wide rewards, including multiple sizes of the snowman plush (from small to giga), the introduction of the Super Lucky Prize, Sandi the Palcat Plush, and other seasonal goodies. Watch Kilima come alive as the snowman towers to impressive new heights.
Goals & Rewards
If players collectively reach 3 Million Snowman Plushes, everyone who joins in will earn rewards inspired by the glow and generosity of Winterlights.

Do I need to collect all of the Snowmen plushes myself?
Not at all! This is a shared goal across all Palians. Every snowman plush collected or crafted helps the community grow the snowman and grow the count.
Can I work on this event with my friends?
Absolutely! Cooperation and togetherness is the heart of the season and Grow-A-Snowman. Collect, craft, and celebrate together to watch the snowman grow!
Do other plushes collected count?
No, for this event, we are only counting Snowman plushes.
When will we see milestones hit? How will we know when we hit the goal?
Updates on plush totals and unlocked rewards will be shared on the Palia Discord and social media throughout the event. You can also visually see the snowman expand in size as Snowman plushes are collected!
What is a Super Lucky Prize?
Unlike Lucky Coins (which can award common items such as butter or seeds), Super Lucky Prizes will exclusively dispense higher value rewards such as plushes, decor, and other special items. Please note that unlike Lucky Coins, no visit to Zeki's Wondrous Machine is required for Super Lucky Prizes!
