Something’s Brewing in the Barnyard: Introducing "Who's That Barn Buddy"

Something’s brewing in the barnyard, and it’s not just the mischievous Pekis. As part of the next chapter of the Ranching update, we’re challenging the community to show off their creativity.

We’ll be sharing the official silhouette of one of the next animal types arriving with this round of Ranching, and it's up to YOU to imagine what it might look like. Will your art be udderly accurate, wildly creative, or funny enough to hog the spotlight? We can’t wait to see what you dream up!

How to Participate:

• Join the Palia Discord server.
• Grab the Silhouette template image from the pinned message in the #barn-buddy-contest channel.
• Fill it in however you like. Digital or traditional art are both welcome.
• Post your masterpiece in the #barn-buddy-contest channel before the deadline!

Rules:

• Art may be digital or traditional (all must be able to be uploaded in a Discord post), but no generative AI Artwork tools may be used to create or enhance your submission.
• Your art must be original work made by you. No reposting, tracing, or submitting other people’s work. Keep submissions family-friendly and in line with Palia community guidelines and TOS.
• Only one entry per person (you may edit or replace your entry until the deadline).
• The provided silhouette template must remain intact. Do not crop or distort the outline.
• By entering, you agree to allow Palia to share your submission on social media and promotional materials (with credit to you).

Categories:

• Most Accurate: Closest to the actual animal (When revealed).
• Most Creative: The most unique, well thought out, and inventive design.
• Funniest: Makes us laugh the most.

Prizes:

• The winner of each category will receive 5,100 Palia coins! Plus, we may feature entries on our social channels (with credit to the artists, of course!)

Deadlines and Timelines:

• Event Announcement: September 23, 2025
• All entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 2 at 9AM Pacific
• We will announce the winner on Friday, October 10.
